Old Manor Park Library is a public space for artists, makers and people living in Manor Park. It is a place where artists and east Londoners can connect and share knowledge.Old Manor Park Library incorporates affordable artists’ studios to support a broad range of practice including filmmaking, performance, making and research alongside a new public cultural space Rabbits Road Institute, informed by the history and ethos of free public libraries.
Rabbits Road Institute, set up by artists Ruth Beale and Amy Feneck, will host activities, events and social gatherings. Local people are invited to use the Institute for meetings, workshops and other activities.
The Rabbits Road Institute takes enquiries and proposals from local people and community groups who wish to use this beautiful space.
The Old Manor Park Library project is delivered in partnership by Create, Bow Arts and Newham Council. It is supported by the Mayor of London’s High Street Fund, The Charles Hayward Foundation and Arts Council England.
