F block at Royal Albert Wharf has high, near double height ceilings, with large windows allowing lots of natural light into the studios. The purpose built studios have 24 hour access, WiFi, heating and industrial shared sinks with an on site concierge who can take packages. All the studios are open plan, fostering a strong artist coomminity in the space. They are set within a large and evolving new housing and commercial development within the historic Royal Albert Docks, the largest enclosed docks in the world, surrounding nearly 250 acres of water. We have fitted out the internal spaces working with Delvendahl Martin Architects, who designed our Bow Arts offices and recent Icehouse Court Studios in Barking.
As well as the studios, Royal Albert Wharf is home to RAW Labs a place for ideas, action and reaction with community coffee shop and a changing programme of workshops, classes, and arts events. Our programme aims to inspire, challenge, build skills, and catalyse great conversation, in a welcoming space that is open to all. Yoga, Life Drawing, film nights and practical workshops are just a few of the highlights.
