Sarah Bonnell Consortium Celebration Exhibition
Tuesday 10th February 2026 – Friday 13th February 2026 , 10:00am to 5:00pm
Join us to celebrate young people’s creativity in an exhibition showcasing inspirational artwork by students from schools across Newham.

We’re delighted that The Source in Theatre Square, Stratford are hosting this community exhibition in their gallery space alongside their busy café. Drop in and discover a vibrant mix of students’ work in various mediums including sculpture, animation, mosaics, printmaking, costume and crafts created by the following schools:
- Essex Primary School
- Portway Primary School
- Ronald Openshaw Nursery Education Centre
- Sandringham Primary School
- Sarah Bonnell School
- Selwyn Primary School
- William Davies Primary School
This exhibition marks an exciting chapter in a long-standing collaboration between the schools in The Sarah Bonnell Consortium, who came together ten years ago.

Over the last year, more than 600 students, alongside their teachers and families, have taken part in consortium projects. Each project is unique – as shown by the exhibition’s variety of work and methods – with many projects being influenced by the communities and landscapes that surround them.
The consortium schools are dedicated to embedding the arts into their curriculum and providing opportunities for students to experiment and explore their identities, histories and ecologies through creative learning. This dynamic approach towards art education is reflected in their students’ enthusiasm, resilience and creativity – which comes across in this year’s celebration exhibition.
