For our current Nunnery Café exhibition, we’re proud to present a showcase of work by Bow Road studio holders Good Wives and Warriors. To Take a Leaf out a Book will show the workings of their richly illustrated picture books, featuring their original hand painted illustrations and published books, which are full of mythical creatures, plants and animals.
Dr Sofia Greaves from Bow Arts' Bow Research Group will be presenting research exploring artists' experiences of housing guardianships offered by Bow Arts at affordable rates in Thamesmead, and the impact artists have within communities there, featuring photographs of the Lesnes Estate by Amanda Eatwell.
'What does climate change look like to you?' Bow Arts and V&A East invite you to join multi-disciplinary artist Mo Langmuir in an interactive and collaborative workshop diving into this question and create a fabric 'parachute' map to reflect on local history.

All are welcome to join Bow Arts, the Mason Foundation and the Ridgeway users for a walk to appreciate the nature around the Bexley and Ridgeway area, while taking the chance to clean up your local area.

Join Visions Programme 1 artist and curator Rosie Gibbens as we create moving drawings and collages of bodies using small clocks. Children and families will draw some of body parts or use pre-made body parts provided to make a collaborative installation drawing at the end!
