Description:
Skills-based arts programmes are tailored to your school priorities and delivered by professional practising artists, with the aim of developing students’ artistic skills and techniques and supporting progression. Work with a targeted learner group, year group or key stage.
Projects can be run as discrete, standalone projects, or can be integrated into an art and design scheme of work. Each programme has a different skill focus, with the themes, topics or outputs tailored to your needs.
Choose from:
Drawing
Materials: Pencils, chalk pastels, graphite sticks, charcoal, chalk, pen and ink
Processes: Shading, observation, tone, perspective, drawing large scale and composition
Painting
Materials: Watercolours, acrylics, oil, spray paint
Processes: Colour, observation, tone, perspective, collaboration, scale, layout, communicating ideas
Sculpture
Materials: Clay, paper, card, plaster, modroc, recycled objects / found materials, constructed textiles
Processes: Carving, casting and moulding, modelling, assemblage, construction, form, recycling, changing objects, matching visual and tactile qualities of materials to the purpose of the work
Photography
Materials: Digital photography, pinhole, image manipulation – documentary, photomontage, photojournalism, studio, portrait
Processes: Composition, focus, point of view, depth of field, camera function
Printmaking
Materials: Mono-printing, embossing, block printing, screen-printing, lino printing
Processes: Layering, layout and composition, stencilling, positive and negative space

Project Costs:
From £1,425 + materials (based on five workshop days @ £270 + £75 planning meeting)
