Project Space: Open Call

Along with the opening of new Rum Factory studios in Pennington Street, Wapping, Bow Arts  are also launching a project space. The space is intended as a resource for artists to use however they wish. As a space for workshops, meetings, discussions, exhibitions, screenings or simply as a space to document work.

To start the space off we are running an open call out to Bow Arts Artists to make proposals for events, talks and workshops  - arts events of any kind so long as they are artist led - to run free of charge throughout the first two months of the space opening.

We hope to be able to schedule  quality projects that have variety and bring involvement of both the public and the Bow Arts Artist’s community in this launch period.

The project space will usually be available for hire, (*at significantly subsidised rates for Bow Arts artists) these initial events will run free of charge with some support from the Bow Arts Studios team. This means any costs incurred must be the responsibility of those making proposals.

Please feel free to be experimental and discuss ideas you have with us– we hope this opening period will allow us to explore what we can make of this space as a community.

The space is 450 square foot and is situated in the main entrance lobby of the building. We are building an information pack for this for future but as the building is on the verge of opening photos of the completed space are not yet available.

You must be a Bow Arts studio holder or education artist in order to apply for this initial period.

Please contact with enquiries or proposals.
