Bow Arts’ annual open studios summer season is set!
This year we are delighted to add two new open studios events to our calendar, with the inaugural editions of St Katharine's ArtSpace Open Studios and Rum Factory Open Studios both in the heart of East London's historical Dockland area.
St Katharine's Precinct, ArtSpace: Saturday 30 April 2-8pm
This site is one of our smaller sites and comprises several shipping containers built into a courtyard of studios. This is a very special location in partnership with the Royal Foundation of St Katharine's. There is a beautiful Yurt cafe on site that will be selling refreshments, food and also hosting a bar.
See the list of participating artists here and watch out for the announcement of the developing programme for the day.
Rum Factory Studios: Saturday 14 May 2-8pm
The Rum Factory is a network of open planned studios within a beautiful building formally known as ‘Fortress Wapping’ – ex-home to News International, now an amazing Grade II listed rum warehouse and home to nearly 100 artists. Just a stones throw from St Katharine's Dock, Wapping. This site is also home to Bow Arts first project space for artists, PSW for which the artists are currently planning a collaborative use for the event!
See the list of participating artists here and again, watch our for a the programme for the day that will include formal and informal events throughout the studios.
Bow Road Open: Friday 17 June 6-10pm & Saturday 18 June 1-7pm
Watch this space for more details as we set up for this event, our 21st Open at Bow Road!
