As part of London Festival of Architecture and inspired by the current exhibition Madge Gill at the Nunnery Gallery, Gary Haines, author of Britain in Old Photographs: Bow and Bromley-by-Bow and Images of London: Bethnal Green will lead a walk around the area.  This walk will encompass a history of Bow and Bromley by Bow with special attention to the lives and great deeds of women such as Sylvia Pankhurst, Edith Cavell and Minnie Lansbury all of whom were connected with the area.

This walk is free, it lasts 1.5 hours and you should meet promptly at the Nunnery Gallery cafe at 2pm on Saturday to join in the walk.
