Creative enterprise at the heart of community

Founder and chief executive of Bow Arts Marcel Baettig will give an insight into the model that has allowed Bow Arts to support artists, designers and makers for the past 25 years whilst supporting the wider community. The talk will take an in-depth look at a pioneering Bow Arts project with Notting Hill Genesis, Royal Albert Wharf, that see's affordable workspace and culture at the heart of the place making strategy.

The event is organised alongside FCBStudios current London Festival Architecture exhibition ‘The Places Between’.

Visible Voices Celebration

Join us on Sunday 16 December (12-4pm) to see and celebrate the work of Bow Arts’ Visible Voices artist-in-residence Emma Curd, on the site of Sylvia Pankhurst’s first speech and arrest. An exhibition of new artwork made by Emma and the community, there will be drinks, food and a free walking tour, retracing the steps of the East London Federation of Suffragettes (2-3pm).
