Monday, June 11, 2018 to Sunday, June 17, 2018
Opening Hours:
Thursday 12pm - 6pm, Friday 12 - 10pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am - 4pm
RAW Labs, Norton Quays, Royal Albert Wharf, London, E16 2QJ

Current artist in residence at RAW Lab Jojo Hynes is running art workshops to create a future Heroine for the local area called ‘Alberta Gallion’. Inspired by the local Heroines past and present, Alberta will take stimulus from the architecture of the Royal Albert Wharf by Notting Hill Housing.

There will be a procession taking place 14 June to celebrate the community of the new built environment and its new Heroine. Everyone is free to join the procession on June 14 – taking part in walks, dancing and an opportunity to  meet the local community and welcome ‘Alberta Gallion’ to Royal Albert Wharf. The artworks made in collaborative workshops will be scanned/photographed and become part of the digitally printed banners for the Procession. The original artworks will be part of the exhibition at RAW Labs.

Please feel free to bring your own photos, stories and artworks to these workshops to design/create a banner inspired by their own Heroine.
