Bow Arts seeks to support artists at all stages of their career. In 2015 Bow Arts launched Bow Skills in response to an artist survey which showed over 90% of practicing artists find it useful to receive further support outside formal education.
Bow Skills is a dynamic and relevant programme of Continuing Professional Development (CPD) which is informed by an artist steering group and open to all creative practitioners across London. The programme of talks, panel discussions, new skills labs and peer crits is open to all, with concession rates available to Bow Arts artists and students.
As our Bow Skills 2020 Event Programme is currently on hold due to the Covid-19 health crisis, we will instead be releasing some top tips from our session leaders online. Bow Skills Online is a new series of free online training videos for the arts community. These short videos will offer actionable tips and tricks for different aspects of creative practice development, all achievable in the safety of your own home.
Our first video is run by the amazing Monika Gravagno of Facciocose, a London-based theatre company who specialise in physical theatre and artist development. Monika has created a Content Strategy Plan for those looking to enhance and improve their social media usage. Watch for advice on what to share, where to share it and how to effectively engage as many people as possible.
