Bow Arts Climate Advocacy Statement

Bow Arts advocates for climate justice, social and environmental change which is evident across all the work that we do. As active members of our local communities, we recognise our responsibility within communities who are disproportionately affected by the harmful impacts of climate change.

We contribute to a culture of sustainable, responsible and local cultural economies, based on circular economic principles and by building strong relationships with residents and stakeholders.

We strive to collaborate and communicate openly with our Live & Work Space communities to cultivate sustainable and resourceful systems, approaches and processes that promote climate justice.

We work with children, teachers and artists to create an equitable, socially just and climate secure society by empowering children and young people to challenge and question current societal norms through creativity.

Through our public programming we question and explore embedded practices and biases within our societies and cultures by giving artists a creative platform to advocate for justice, cultivating thinking and encouraging knowledge sharing, learning and positive exchange for solidarity for action.
