Bow Arts artist Nye Thompson, recently featured in The Guardian for her archive of unsecured webcam images, will discuss her project Backdoored, a collection of images captured by search-bots via unsecured private webcams. Exploring this unintended slippage between the private and public domains, Thompson will discuss the archive – images of private life and self-surveillance – and the issues that surround it.
This is one of many other events Bow Arts will be hosting in honour of the Bow Open Show, curated by Anj Smith. The Bow Open Show will run from Friday 17 June- Sunday 28 August.
General Admission Tickets: £3
