Bow Families Special: print your own seasonal cards with Katka Krajči

Sunday 8th December 2024 , 11:00am to 4:00pm

Join artist Katka Krajči in a family printmaking session to create seasonal cards with festive motifs. You can get to make your own stamps to work with from scratch!

Join us for creative family fun as part of this year’s Bow Road Winter Market! Take a break from the bustling stalls to explore new textures and colours – just in time for the festive season! Engrave, stamp, be bold with your designs and take-home handcrafted mementos to gift to others.

In this session, children and families will make your own stamps to work with from scratch. You will also learn to engrave some simple leafy designs onto foam sheets. Using a range of festive coloured inks, you can brighten your designs and print them onto coloured cards. All materials are provided.

This workshop is accessible for 4 to 11-year-olds (and adults too of course). Younger children can create simple placements or repeat prints whilst older children/adults can develop their prints further by rotating and overlaying their designs, making them more dynamic.

This Bow Families Special will take place inside the Bow Arts Courtyard Room.

Bow Families is a series of free, drop-in family art workshops that take place on the last Sunday of every month in the Bow Arts Courtyard. These sessions are a wonderful opportunity for local families to get creative and try something new! Each session is led by a Bow Arts’ Artist and all materials are provided.

Free Drop in – all are welcome!
