Bow Skills Coffee at a studio: Ice House Court & Riverside Mills Studios

Sunday 11th September 2022 , 12:00pm to 1:30pm

Coffee at a studio is a new series of free, informal artist socials exclusively open to Bow Arts studio artists, flat holders, and learning artists.

Each Coffee at a studio will involve an artist-led tour of one of our studio sites, followed by a coffee and a chat in an informal setting, providing you with a chance to see how other studios work, connect with other artists in the Bow Arts community, and build a peer-to-peer network of support.

For the first iteration of Coffee at a studio, interdisciplinary artist Bethany Parkinson will be providing an insight into the life and work at two of our sites in Barking: IceHouse Court and Riverside Mills studios.

In this event, you’ll get a real insight into these two sites and the artists, designers, and makers who all contribute to the beating heart of Barking and Dagenham’s creative quarter and artistic community.

Afterwards, you will have the opportunity to grab a coffee with other Bow Arts artists and talk through any thoughts, questions, or experiences you’d like to share in this friendly, informal setting.
