Bow Skills Workshop: bid writing and arts FUN-draising with Tom Ryalls

Wednesday 28th September 2022 , 6:00pm to 8:00pm

Join writer and fundraiser Tom Ryalls in this myth-busting workshop on bid writing and arts fundraising, including a short Q&A to give you the chance to break into the specifics of your own projects.

The central theme of the workshop will be the fundamental importance of creativity and storytelling when writing bids or fundraising. Through an artist-centred approach, Tom will run through the different types of funding out there, tactics to employ for each, top tips on how to bring together a campaign featuring all the different types, bid writing methodologies, as well as a chance to home in a little bit on a specific type of funding of the group’s choice.

All participants will also get to take home a resource pack at the end, featuring everything you’ll have learnt in the session and some extra insights
