Bow Families: collaging a Bow-scape with Julie Vermeille

Sunday 26th February 2023 , 11:00am to 1:00pm

Illustrator and artist educator Julie Vermeille invites you to get crafty and come and make your very own Bow-scape!

Taking the local area and key landmarks in Bow as your inspiration, we will be decorating a simple concertina book with all kinds of fun shapes, patterns and textures to create colourful cityscapes of the places and spaces we move through.

In this workshop, children and families will learn how to use coloured ink, a range of other drawing materials, and collage to create their Bow-scapes.

This event is an inclusive, friendly environment which is accessible to all abilities and age groups.

Bow Families is a series of free, drop-in family art workshops that take place on the last Sunday of every month in the Bow Arts Courtyard. These sessions are a wonderful opportunity for local families to get creative and try something new! Each session is led by a Bow Arts’ Artist and all materials are provided

Free (This event is free and drop in – no booking required!)
