Casting Nature with Jesmonite Sculpture

Take part in this free, creative workshop and learn a new skill!

Tuesday 23rd April 2024 , 1:00pm to 3:00pm

Join artist educator and Thamesmead artist Miyuki Kasahara for a creative session of casting nature with Jesmonite.

The sculptures will created using locally collected natural materials by impressing the materials onto clay and casting them into Jesmonite. Local materials include wooden sticks, Blackheath bedstones, shark teeth, pine cones, leaves, etc.

Suitable for complete beginners as well as casting professionals! Due to the nature of this workshop, it is suitable for adults only.

All materials will be provided.
