Experience a warm and welcoming evening session with the East London Group and Urban Contemporaries paintings.
The In the footsteps of the East London Group exhibition is inspired by the East London Group’s scenes of the old East End. Twenty-two painters from the Urban Contemporaries group and invited guests, including David Herpher, Doreen Fletcher, Ben Johnson, Philippa Beale, Timothy Hyman RA and Harriet Mena Hill, have created new works to be shown alongside their historical counterparts. View the paintings under the evocative atmosphere of a newly commissioned sound piece recorded in east London by artist felix taylor.
