Catford Dek is opening the doors for its Open Studios event! Meet the artists as they display their works spanning textiles art, installation, painting, drawing, graphic design and set design, photography and more!

Join us in the heart of Catford and surround yourself in the creative company of artists and their beautiful studios. Open Studios is a unique opportunity for artists to showcase their work in a fun and friendly setting.

Meet the Artists

Abigail Ratanatray

Abi expresses her passion for flowers and life through captivating portraits and bold floral paintings. Drawing on a rich background in fashion design, she creates a unique aesthetic that fuses colour and emotion. Each brushstroke reflects the beauty of her surroundings, drawing viewers into the artistic narrative she weaves.

Joyce Treasure

Joyce Treasure is a multidisciplinary artist whose practice explores the hidden dimensions of mythology and ritual, examining how changing climates and colonial legacies exert on bodies, places, and overall well-being. Navigating the intersection of politics, care, and satire, she transforms assemblages of objects and images into allegories of lived experiences. Embracing a diverse array of mediums, including collage, sculpture, painting, drawings, performance, film, new technology, and speculative writing, her practice becomes an exploration of the intricate relationships between human narratives and the evolving world around us. In her work, tactile materials act as collaborators and agents that intersect with the written word to explore opposing environments of power and vulnerability as psychological and sociological landscapes.
