Students’ artwork and projects on display as part of the Poplar Consortium Celebration exhibition

We’re delighted that Tower Hamlets’ arts and community space, Poplar Union, are hosting our Poplar Consortium Celebration Exhibition from Thursday 7 to Thursday 28 May, 10am – 4pm.

Drop in and discover the vibrant mix of projects the students have been working on through various mediums including drawings, design, printmaking, architectural drawings, sculpture and murals.

Over the last 12 months our artist educators have worked with a range of year groups in the following schools:

  • Lansbury Lawrence Primary School
  • Malmesbury Primary School
  • Mayflower Primary School
  • St Saviour’s Primary School
  • St Paul with St Luke Primary School
  • Wellington Primary School
  • Woolmore Primary School

The consortium schools are dedicated to embedding the arts into their curriculum and providing opportunities for students to experiment and explore their identities, histories and ecologies through creative learning. This dynamic approach towards art education is reflected in their students’ enthusiasm, resilience and creativity – which comes across in this year’s celebration exhibition.

Please note, this exhibition will take place at Poplar Union, 2 Cotall Street, London E14 6TL.
