Activity Workshop

Meeting Point: Royal Albert Wharf (studio 10)

Instructions: Make, collect or find something in transit to or at Royal Albert Wharf. Bring this something to your meeting point at 2pm. Choose when and where to start your journey and your preferred mode of transportation. You can make a detour, get lost deliberately, or stop for a break – just let yourself be drawn in by the terrain and the encounters you find along the way. You can treat this as a part of an ongoing endeavour. What if the beginning of this journey was a point in the past? All things are welcome: a found object, a drawing, a photo, a video, a sound, a performance, a piece of writing, a work in progress, an idea, or nothing at all. At the meeting point, you will be encouraged to share and discuss your experience and outcomes with others. Please reserve your spot by contacting them on Instagram @in_transit_to.

This workshop will kick start Transit Grp members to experiment with collaboration on a site-specific piece for Royal Albert Wharf area that will be exhibited as a final outcome of residency.

More about the RAW Labs X Art Residency

The RAW Labs X Art Residency places a strong emphasis on creative growth and interdisciplinary dialogue, creating a unique space where art and community intersect. Supported by Notting Hill Genesis and Bow Arts, this initiative aims to foster interaction and encourage active participation in the cultural fabric of Royal Albert Wharf, enhancing both the artistic and communal experience.

Over six months, selected artists will undertake two to three-week residencies in an immersive environment to expand their practice, explore new concepts, exchange diverse perspectives, and experiment with innovative approaches.
