Diploma course information session hosted at the Nunnery.
Bow Arts and Birkbeck are hosting an information session at the Nunnery Gallery on Tuesday 6th September. Anyone interested in a brand new diploma course, Understanding the Visual Arts & Media, is welcome to attend.
This new 2-year programme, leading to a qualification from the University of London, offers a local and accessible route into higher education for people interested in our rich visual world. Expert Birkbeck tutors will introduce students to the rich and diverse world of visual arts and media through a combination of illustrated talks, group work, discussion and visits in London. It is part of Birkbeck’s continuing commitment to offering programmes in East London in partnership with community-based organisations. Bursaries are also available for students to assist with course fees.
If you would like more information about the programme in general, or would like to arrange for a dedicated information session for your own group, please join us on Tuesday 6th September for an informal information session at the Nunnery with Dr Leslie Topp, Programme Director.
