Visions in the Nunnery 2000

The subject of the exhibition was the ‘plurality’ of the video image. The work demonstrated the diversity of approach by artists working with electronic and digital moving imagery.
Work screened included John Struttons’ video ‘Father, Son & Scary Ghost’, Andy Harpers’ ‘A-Movie-A-Night’ and Emma Cox, ‘Orchextraordinary’.
The exhibition featured a number of video installations including ‘Fenetre Digitale’, a digital video projection by Chris Meigh-Andrews, ‘Mummy Says’ by Cinza Cremona, and a new work by Katherine Meynell and Effie Gibson. There was also the chance to see a new collaboration by Simon Hollington & Kypros Kyprianou, who chose to use the Gallery office as the scene for an un-told movie.
