Ceramics by Yasmin Falahat

Yasmin Falahat is a multi-disciplinary artist and maker, currently focusing on handmade ceramics. Yasmin's ceramic pomegranate and fig dishes are inspired by her Iranian and Turkish Cypriot heritage, and each piece is made and glazed by hand in her Bow Arts studio.

Michael Gurhy is one of our Lakeside Centre artists who works across many mediums including video, painting and photography. He creates sustainable clothing, illustrated greeting cards and editioned giclée prints.

Ben Fox's 'River Relics'

Benjamin Fox is a previous ‘Visions in the Nunnery’ exhibitor, a collector and an animator of tactile objects and environments. Fox intricately hand-crafts these mysterious miniature worlds using objects collecting from the Thames Foreshore.

Emerald Faerie, run by Fiona Gall, is a contemporary lighting and jewellery design company. Previously a live-work artist and Bow Road studio holder, Fiona creates bespoke lighting for private and commercial clients across the world.

East London Group Cards, £3

This series of greetings cards by East London Group artists Elwin Hawthorne, Harold Steggles and Walter Steggles are from our hugely popular ‘The Working Artist: The East London Group’ exhibition back in September 2017.


Marcus Orlandi 'Control; Alt Right: Delete' T-Shirt, £25 

Marcus Orlandi, a Lakeside centre artist, produced a public artwork as part of ‘The Working Artist: The East London Group’ exhibition in September 2017. His banner was installed at the Bow Bells pub on Bow Road, marking Albert Turpin’s role in the anti-fascist movement

Ida Jacobsson-Wells Pottery, £10

Ida Jacobsson-Wells is an interior & still life stylist, who has worked on editorial features, music videos, commercials, set and costume design and shoot production, as well as making this beautiful pottery in her spare time.


FORMcard, £5

FORMcard is a handy, pocket-sized meltable bio-plastic invented by maker and designer Peter Marigold. Marigold was one of our resident makers for the Raw Materials: Plastics project, where he exhibited his FORMcard cabinets in summer 2018.


Jesmonite Casting Workshop with Haidee Drew, £45

Haidée Drew, based in our Bow Road studios, is a designer and educator, working on products, interiors, installations and curation. Haidée runs hands-on, creative Jesmonite Casting Workshops, where you can create your own unique objects including jewellery and coasters. Perfect for presents!

Nunnery Gallery has step-free access throughout from street level, including to the accessible toilet, and is service animal friendly. This venue does not have a hearing loop system.

Accessible parking is not available on-site but blue badge parking can be found 500m away on Fairfield Road.
