The Nunnery Café

Located in the vibrant heart of Bow, the Nunnery Café is more than just a coffee spot; it’s an entryway to a rich cultural experience. Nestled down Bow Arts Lane and housed within a charming former convent, the café sits perfectly adjacent to the Nunnery Gallery. It’s the ideal place to unwind, soak in creativity, and make meaningful connections.

At the Nunnery Café, we proudly serve HeySisterCoffee, a local, female-led, hand-crafted roastery that champions ethical, empowering, and sustainable practices. With 3% of sales funding projects that uplift women, your choice to enjoy our coffee supports both local and global communities.

In addition to offering a delightful café experience, we also host various events and are available for private bookings, providing a unique backdrop for your events.
Both the Nunnery Café and the Nunnery Gallery operate as not-for-profit spaces, dedicating their efforts to enriching the community through art, culture and food.

The Nunnery Cafe is open Monday 9am – 1pm, Tuesday to Saturday 9am-4pm, and Sunday 10am-4pm. Eat-in and takeaway options are both available.
