Nathan Eastwood, winner of the inaugural East London Painting Prize, presents his solo exhibition Work / Recreation / Freedom at the Nunnery Gallery from 10 October to 21 December. One winner was chosen from the shortlist of 43 artists across east London to receive a life changing £10,000 prize and a prominent solo show.

Join us to celebrate 22 painters and guests from the Urban Contemporaries group opening their exhibition exploring the past and present of east London. This exhibition is inspired by East London Group’s scenes of the old East End, and the new works will be shown alongside their historical counterparts.

Bow Arts’ annual Bow Open Show showcases the talent and diversity of art being made across our artist network, from our studios and spaces, as well as by our artist educators. This year’s curator is visual artist Lindsey Mendick, who has invited submissions with her provocation “A Personal Treasure”.
