Date:
Saturday, February 3, 2018 to Saturday, March 10, 2018
Opening Hours:
10am - 12pm
Address:
R.A.W Lab, Norton Quays, Royal Albert Wharf, London, E16 2QJ

A six-week program offering the opportunity to learn innovative making skills, craft stories and explore the historic Royal Albert Docks. Beginning with a walking tour of the local area, the children will collate images and write stories based on their discoveries. Leading on from this, they will create illustrative clay tiles inspired by their imaginative stories, drawings and pictures.

The tiles will then be used to create molds from for Jesmonite casting. Each intricate Jesmonite tile will then be used to create a large-scale mural of the Thames to have on a permanent display at RAW Lab. This course is a fantastic opportunity for children to learn innovative and exciting new making skills, while also helping to encourage creative writing inspired by the local area and community. The course will also be open for drop in sessions each week.

Suggested donation of £4
