Crochet Workshop with Alise Popila

Learn the building blocks of crochet to open up a whole new world of needlecraft! Join us after hours at the Nunnery Café with Alise Popila to get your hooks into crafting stylish yarn creations.

In this hands-on workshop with Alise Popila, learn to crochet simple two-colour check patterns with an option to finish it into small table mat. No experience is necessary – all materials (cotton yarn and crochet hook) are provided.

The event will be complimented with tea and vegan, gluten free cookies from our local vegan baker melloww.

Alise Popila is a textile designer, maker and founder of Sunflower Workshop.

Access information  

The Nunnery Café has step-free access throughout from street level, including to the accessible toilet, and is service animal friendly. This venue does not have a hearing loop system.  

Accessible parking is not available on-site but blue badge parking can be found 500m away on Fairfield Road.
