Nodding to the weaving techniques Anh applied in her story cloth on display in the Traces: Stories of Migration exhibition as our starting point, you will uncover how we can use weaving as a meditative way to ground ourselves in the act of making and transform old fabric offcuts into our own personal artworks.
After learning about the methodology of weaving and its cultural significance, you will be guided by Anh through the process of this traditional making technique and how to construct your own DIY cardboard looms, before selecting fabrics and other textures to create your mini wall hangings and coasters.
No experience necessary – all materials are provided!
Concessions rate applies to Bow Arts artists, students, over 65s, under 18s, National Art Pass members, and key workers
