Visitors of all ages and skill levels are invited to join artist and educator Edita Juchneviciene to get to grips with using a Gelli Print Press.

Using stencils, different textures, and natural materials collected from around Thamesmead, you will explore how to create your own unique monotype print, pattern, image, or artwork using a Gelli Print Press. Layer textures, play with colour, and experiment with composition to produce a one-of-a-kind piece to take home.
Gelli plates are an affordable and endlessly reusable way to dive into the world of printmaking. Whether you’re a curious beginner or an experienced creative, this is a fun and accessible way to unlock your creativity.
All materials provided.
This event is part of the Lakeside Centre Open Studios. In 2025, Bow Arts celebrates 30 years of providing long-lasting artist support, championing creative sustainable activity within local communities and providing affordable live & work spaces.
