Teacher CPD: Making Magic with Lily Ash Sakula

Ignite curiosity and creativity with artist educator Lily Ash Sakula. 

This workshop explores playful activities designed to spark a sense of wonder in your students.  

You’ll get a chance to try out imaginative activities that inspire creative thinking, provide rich opportunities for cross-curricular learning. and help you reconnect with your own sense of imagination and play. 
 
The workshop is open to all levels of experience. All materials will be provided.

The Bow Arts Public Teacher CPD programme is a professional development opportunity designed specifically for educators seeking innovative, arts-based approaches to education and pedagogy.  

Bow Arts is uniquely placed to deliver effective and relevant teacher CPD, with a long-standing commitment to supporting educators through high-quality, arts-based training. The programme is designed to be affordable, accessible and relevant to your everyday classroom practice.  
 
Led by our experienced artist educators, this innovative programme features hands-on workshops designed to empower you to:

  • Discover engaging methods for cross-curricular learning  
  • Create inspiring lesson ideas aligned with the national curriculum  
  • Refresh your teaching toolkit  

The programme is an opportunity to connect and collaborate with a vibrant community of fellow teachers and educators to share insights and inspiration. 

Nearest station(s): Bow Road (District and Hammersmith and City lines) is a 6-minute walk away, and Bow Church (DLR) is a 3-minute walk away.    
Bus: 205, 25, 425, A8, D8, 108, 276, 488 and 8 all service the surrounding area.    
Bike: Bicycle parking is located at Bow Church Station. The nearest Santander Cycles docking station is at Bow Church Station. 

Accessibility: The Bow Arts Trust office has step-free access throughout from street level, including to the accessible toilet, and is service animal friendly. This venue does not have a hearing loop system. Accessible parking is not available on-site.
