Thamesmead Learning Circle: Macrame basket weaving with Biljana and Marcus Orlandi

Learn how to make a hanging basket using a simple weaving technique called macrame. Across two sessions, participants will be guided through the process and come away with their own object to take home.
All materials will be provided.
This workshop is part of Thamesmead Learning Circle (TLC), a weekly craft group where local people share their specialist craft skills in a series of programmed workshops and mentorship.

Access Information
The Lakeside Centre is accessible via the lift, on the ground floor inside the studios.
Thamesmead Social Cafe will be open on the day, providing wheelchair accessible toilets and access to baby change facilities. This building does not have access to a hearing loop.
