‘Jasmine, George and Gloria’ by Jarrod Sanderson, a Film Screening @ PSW

The characters Jasmine, George and Gloria originated in a series of drawings by Sanderson. Following the drawings, the artist wrote a screenplay and built a set into which he invited actors to create a short film. The resulting film is a domestic melodrama in which the relationships between businessman George, his domineering, sexually unhinged wife Gloria and exotic butler Jasmine play out in an imaginary world reminiscent of drawing room farce. Meanwhile an argument about global political-economic history unfolds.
