This free, drop-in workshop offers local families and children of all ages the chance to create their own collage artwork inspired by the Bow Open Exhibition.
Cut, stick and combine images of the Bow Open artworks with shapes, letters and more to create a brand-new piece. Following the principles of Leyla’s title - ‘Regroup, Reorganise, Reimagine’, we will interpret what this means and how we can re-construct our own images.
This session will be led by Bow Arts artist and educator Nicci James, whose work is on display in the Nunnery Gallery’s annual Bow Open Show.
The workshop will take place outside in the Bow Arts Courtyard (under a cover), with covid protocols taken into consideration.
This event is an inclusive friendly environment, accessible to all abilities and age groups. All materials will be provided.
Nunnery Gallery has step-free access throughout from street level, including to the accessible toilet, and is service animal friendly. This venue does not have a hearing loop system.
Accessible parking is not available on-site but blue badge parking can be found 500m away on Fairfield Road.
