This experimental workshop will see Jamie Temple and Josh Armitage team up once again to introduce new approaches to mixed media on paper, spanning drawing, painting and print. Starting out with quick sketches of the RAW Labs space and surrounding environment we will then progress to carving lines in vinyl. These blocks will form the basis for a small varied edition of prints combine drawing, carving and expressive and impressionist painting techniques. You will have the opportunity to learn and develop skills in drawing, painting, carving, using oil based inks and how to combine different types of monotype and relief printing with expert guidance.
This event is part of RAW Labs' artist-in-residency Jamie Temple's current programme of events.
