Cygnet Square Markets
The Cygnet Square Market is back! On the first Saturday of each month, local residents are welcome to explore a range of food & drink stalls and workshops.
Saturday 2nd December 2023 , 10:00am to 4:00pm
We are approaching the last Cygnet Square Market of the year!
You may have noticed that on the first Saturday of each month, Cygnet Square is transformed into Cygnet Square Market, where we bring the flavour to Thamesmead with a spectacular selection of street food, courtesy of Ace Events Ltd. And to make things even sweeter this month, look out for flyers floating around Thamesmead offering £2 off food from food vendors, first come, first serve.
To celebrate the last Cygnet Square monthly Market of the year, we will be joined by sensational-sounding Sunny Steelband, whose authentic calypso flavour will bring sunshine to this December day!
This month’s artist stall will include:
- Jamie Zubairi – Watercolour paintings & cards
- Amanda Eatwell – Cards
- Sonia Roshal – Homeware, fashion accessories, & paintings
- Ali Forbes – 3D sculptural collaged urban folk paintings
The market, a stone’s throw away from Abbey Wood Station, has previously featured a free art and yoga workshops.
Visitors from the market are invited to stop at TACO! next door to the market for a Christmas Special mulled wine!
The market will take place on the first Saturday of every month, and is free to attend. This market is a partnership with Ace Events Ltd.

Please note there is no parking available to the public.
Cygnet Square Market is a short walk away from Abbey Wood Rail Station (Elizabeth Line, National Rail), and can be accessed by bus routes 177, 244, 229, 301, 401, 472, 601, 602, 669.
