Upstairs from the Omaka Gallery, 50 painters, installation artists, fashion designers and more are hard at work on their craft. Join us for a day to connect with talented local artists, and experience their incredible works up close.
Bow Arts is participating in the Lambeth Open. We open our studios on an annual basis to welcome our local community, as well and our friends, and artists across Bow Arts’ studio sites, to see inside artist studios and celebrate curiosity for what happens inside the buildings that we walk past every day.
The studios will be open from 10am-4pm on Sat 7th October, and 12am-4pm on Sunday 8th October.
More studios run by Bow Arts across London will be open following Durham Street’s Open Studios, so visit our What’s On and make sure you’re signed up to our Newsletter to see what we have in store.
Sharon Wymark is a contemporary artist motivated by bright and bold colours, shape and form. She likes to embrace colours that both clash and harmonise. Her recent works are large and explore line and colour, often in a linear form. She views the process of working as very much an ongoing evolutionary process of manoeuvring colour and structure so that they sit together in a complimentary manner. Each piece of work feels like a journey and they are not necessarily planned but emerge slowly by a process of adding or eliminating.
